Cross Country Records Three Top-5 Finishes At the Oz Memorial

first_img FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. – The Drake University men’s and women’s cross country teams recorded a total of three top-five finishes Friday, Sept. 8, evening at the annual Oz Memorial, hosted by the University of Minnesota at the Les Bolstad Golf Course. Women’s Results The Bulldogs raced against competitors from Minnesota, South Dakota State, North Dakota State, Creighton and Minnesota State with the men racing a four-mile (6.44k) course and women competing on a 6k course. The men’s race featured Drake sophomore Kyle Brandt (Maple Grove, Minn.) and junior Josh Yeager (Center Point, Iowa) finishing fourth and fifth, respectively. The women’s squad finished fourth out of five teams with 95 points. Host Minnesota won the women’s meet with 25 points.
