Add to that, the anticipation of waiting for a chosen bull to land a chip in a lucky square.Those who can imagine that can envision just half of the fun of the Bluegrass, Bikers, Barbecue and Bull event set for Saturday, March 28, at the Pike County Cattleman’s arena.The event is a 2009 Relay for Life fundraiser for SARHA and Melissa Bradford, team member, said a day of fun is planned for all ages. The “real estate” will be sold for $10 a square and the rest will be up to the bull.“The ‘owner’ of the lucky square will receive $2,500 and the owner of the square that is the greatest distance from where the bull lays his chip will receive $250.The names of all who purchase a square will be entered in drawings for two-night accommodations at Perdido Beach Resort and a flat-screen television.Squares may be purchased at the SARHA administrative building or by calling 670-6726. Squares may also be purchased at the BBB&B site until 2 p.m. on Saturday.Admission to Bluegrass, Bikers, Barbecue and Bull is free and everyone is invited to enjoy the fun and excitement of this event held in support of the 2009 Pike County Relay for Life campaign.The Pike County Cattleman’s Arena is covered so the event will be held rain or shine.
