Katie Whelan, a Leaving Cert student in Ardscoil Mhuire, brought the project to fruition with light boxes erected on Thomond Bridge in the city. Monies raised from this weekend’s garden fete at the school hall will be used to fund the manufacture of light boxes and for further projects in awareness raising.
