They are nurturers, supporters, caregivers, and providers of the much-needed balance in our lives.In light of the above statement, an exhibition is being organised to highlight the crucial role played by women in our everyday lives. This group exhibition of veteran artists has been curated by Priyanka Banerjee which brings together exquisite artworks revolving around the theme of ‘Women and Femininity’. Uma Bardhan’s works are reflective of Bengal school of Art which showcases women doing their regular house chores. Meghna Agarwal depicts our symbiotic relationship with Mother Earth whose existence is getting jeopardised because of global warming and urbanisation.
